Indian Railways have introduced a facility to book an unreserved suburban tickets using smartphones. The Ticketing application can be downloaded from the application stores of the smartphones.
Ticket Booking
a) Ticket booking is allowed for current date only; no advance booking of tickets.
b) For Chennai & Mumbai: Passengers can book normal journey/return suburban tickets.
