Be A Santa For Someone

Christmas season fills our home with warmth and happiness. This year “RELAXO FOUNDATION” (a CSR arm of the Relaxo Footwears Ltd.) in collaboration with NGO “NAVJYOTI FOUNDATION” planned to become SANTA for 268 underprivileged children of Bawana Slums, Rohini, New Delhi. Giving them 365 blank pages to write the most beautiful chapters of their lives and making them believe that “Dreams do come true”.

WISH BOOK

Chapter1

How it started?

CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) team thought of creating special moments with a different concept for kids. They designed a program to create magic in children’s lives by fulfilling their individual wishes. All the kids were asked to share their desires, and team to put up it all for employees’ to participate and fulfill them.

Team designed the activity props:

a) Wish Post Card – Designed to capture the details of Child and Volunteer both.

b) Wish Tree – To exhibit all the wishes.

Wish tree was put up at the entrance of the office flashing all the wish post cards. Employees’ selected the cards and fill in their details accordingly. All the gifts were purchased by employees’ themselves which added the flavor of love n blessings, making the event with a different approach in the course of various activities heard or done on the occasion of Christmas for underprivileged children .

Collection resulted in vibrant colors with differently packed with messages for the kids.

Response

An overwhelming response was received from employees’ making the event a huge success.

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana

Sukanya Samridhi SCHEME

An initiative by honorable Prime Minister - Shri Narendra Modi

Conception of “Sukanya Samridhi Scheme” was done this year to provide every girl child with a better education and life ahead.

Features of Scheme:

1)      Account can be opened at Banks (28 banks authorized by RBI) OR Post Office.
2)      Account can be open by depositing an amount of Rs. 1000/- and it can go up to Rs. 1.50 lacs a year.
3)      Once the account is opened, amount with the multiples of 100 can be deposited.
4)      In a year at least Rs. 1000/- need to be deposited.
5)      For Fiscal year 2015 – 16 the rate is 9.2 %.
6)      Government will declare the revised rate every fiscal year.
7)      Money to be deposited till 14 years from the date of opening account.
8)      SSA can be opened from the birth of girl child till she attains the age of 10.
9)      Kids born after December 2003 can have a SSA.
10) SSA is not for NRIs.
11) Money can be withdrawn either for Education OR Marriage.
12) Partial withdrawal is allowed only when the age of girl is 18, for Education or Marriage.
13) Account gets mature by 21 years from the date of opening.
14) Government will pay interest even after the scheme gets mature till it is closed voluntarily.
15) Account can be closed if it is proved that the account is bringing hardship to parents / guardians.
16) Person will get the total deposited amount + the interest amount also.
17) In case of premature demise of account holder, the account will be closed.
18) Girls can manage the account from the age of 10.
19) No online transfer available for depositing the amount.
20) Amount to be deposited either by cash / Cheque or DD.
21) A passbook will be issued for the account, no other document is given for it.
22) SSA can be open for two daughters only.In exceptional case, such as a couple having a daughter becomes parents of twin daughters the second time OR a couple are bless with triplets can open SSA for all the three.
23) Either a mother OR father can avail the tax exemption under 80/c.
24) It falls under EEE tax category i.e. contributions, accumulation (interest amount) and withdrawal all are exempted from income tax.

1. AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD OF FILES FROM BLOGGER

Currently there is no direct link available on BlogSpot site to upload the files. However there is a way to download the files from BlogSpot.

1a. FILE FROM GOOGLE DRIVE

Step1: Login to google drive

Step2: Click on My drives and create a folder OR click upload files

Step3: Select file to upload

Step4: Once file is uploaded click on Share button

Step8: Click on OK button and publish the post.

Now users will be able to download the file automatically from the BlogSpot site.

TATKAL TICKET BOOKING

Indian railways have changed the time of booking ticket in Tatkal for Ac / Non- Ac. For Ac it will be from 10.00 am to 10.30 am whereas for Non-Ac it will be 11.00 am to 11.30 am. The change is w.e.f 15^th Jun ’15 and the same has been incorporated to bring down the traffic from server and making it easy and smooth booking process for all. IRCTC ticket agents and / or any kind will be bared for 30 mins from booking the tickets.

Currently there is no system in place of refunding on cancellation of confirmed Tatkal tickets. The Ministry of Railways is planning to define a process in which within a stipulated time frame on cancellation of confirmed Tatkal ticket 50% of the fare will get refunded.
