Hop...Hop...hop…slurp... Slurp…Welcome to Frosky World
A
little boy named Wan, was in search of a place to live, away from the city. One
day he wandered in to a place, where on the entrance was written “Welcome to
Frosky World”. He kept walking and reached near a pond, where he sat on a high
rock. Suddenly he heard someone saying hi, you look upset and tired. Who are
you? Wan looked around and noticed bubbles in the pond, and replied hi, I am Wan,
have come from the nearby city in search of a place to stay. Who are you?
My
name is Su, croaked frog. Elongating his neck out, said I cannot see u, please
come out, said Wan.
Su
hopped out of water on Wan’s behest, and rest himself on a small rock. Hey,
which place is this?, asked Wan. “Frosky
World”, 100 km from the city, croaked Su. Who all stay here?, asked Wan.
Su:
It’s a frog world, and our king’s name is Wang. Why do you want to stay here?,
croaked Su.
I lost my parents and siblings in a storm
recently, and the city haunts me and reminds me of my family, said Wan.
While,
Su was flicking flies and slurping them down, saw tears rolling down from the
boy’s cheeks. Su hopped near Wan, don’t be upset dear you can stay here,
croaked Su.
Wan:
How can I stay here? What will I eat?
Su:
Rolling his eye in disagreement, croaked you can stay with me in the pond. I
don’t mind in sharing my food with you.
Wan:
Awweee…that’s really nice of you Su, but I cannot stay in water and cannot eat
flies like you do.
Su:
Hmmm… then where you will stay? If you sleep near the pond flies would trouble
you, if you stay inside the water you would fall sick. Tell me something, when you were
living with your parents, where you use to stay?
Wan:
We had a house.
Su:
A house? How does one look like?
Wan:
House is built of rocks or woods.
Su
hopped with excitement and croaked that I can help you build one near the pond.
Wan:
Alone you won’t be able to help me. We would require more hands to help us build
one.
Su:
Ok. Let’s go and talk to Wang about it. As he is right person and everyone obeys
his command.
Su
started hopping, Wan following his foot marks towards Wang’s pond. They have
come 30 metres ahead from Su’s pond. To reach their destination they have to
cross a bridge, where Wan noticed a frog sitting on the edge of the bridge and
playing guitar, few others slinging on the other side of the bridge, two
friends enjoying cycling and two studying above the tree. Wan was spellbound on
seeing the beautiful garden, which had the Wang’s pond, and said magnificent it
is Su.
Su
croaked and called Wang. Wang hopped out of the pond.
Good
morning Su, croaked Wang. Good morning King, croaked Su.
Su:
King, he is my friend Wan from the city.
Wang:
Hello Wan. Welcome to Frosky World!
Wan:
Hello king.
Wang:
How can I help you Su?
Su:
He lost his family in a storm, and wants to stay with us.
Wang:
That’s really sad. I can understand how you must be feeling Wan.
Su:
He need our support for building a house for him.
Wang:
What kind of help you require Wan?
Wan:
I require wood logs, straws to cover the logs and frogs to help me gather these
materials.
Wang:
Hmmm… ok.
Wang
asked Su to ring the bell. As ringing the bell was indication that King wants
to meet everyone. There was a banyan tree near Wang’s pond, where he use to
address his inhabitants, within 15 – 20 minutes everyone gathered under the
tree. Wang introduced Wan to everyone and asked all to help him build a house. For
picking the straw we will require Hyn’s help, croaked one of the frog among the
gathered inhabitants. Hyn is a hen and she is known to be best in picking
straws and building houses. She stayed on the other side of the garden, and has
a small house built above the tree.
One
of the frog ran and called Hyn. Hyn greeted everyone present and asked how can I
help you? Wang briefed Hyn about the requirement, to which she nodded her head
in agreement.
Four
teams were formed, and were allocated responsibility accordingly. Su and his
friends helped Wan in building the structure of the house, Hyn picked straws to
cover the rooftop of the house. Wan made a bed to rest on it.
Wan
thanked everyone for their support. Su asked, what will you eat Wan? Wan
answered, will get things for cooking from the city.
Wan
lived happily ever after.
