Women are the pivotal creature on
the earth, without them the functioning of society is difficult. As they come
with different shades and adds spice to one’s life. From ages society had been
ignoring and underestimating the different traits of Women, and considering
them as a commodity who is just required to fulfill the various sets of roles
i.e. “of being a mother”; “of being a wife”; “of being a daughter”; “of being a
sister”; “of being a friend” in a man’s course of life; to run the family;
expected to execute the household work brilliantly.
In Medieval Era we have
intelligent, suave, pluck women like “Jodha Bai” & “Rani Lakshmi Bai”. Then
also people treated women as an article to serve the family and cannot be above
men. However in the Anno Domini or Common Era there has been a huge
transformation in the societies thought pertaining to Women.
Women are considered as one of
the most powerful person in the society and seen as multi facets, who is
capable of managing house and outside world in a tremendous manner. Society has
evolved and adapted the rising of Women as a true professionals in all the
fields which were once considered as man oriented only.
So as the ladies of 21st
century have refused to live and die as a “homemaker”. Due to inevitable
situations girls have to stop working post their marriage; their current work
profile doesn’t interest much . They have succeeded remarkably in developing
their own identity in the society by starting or becoming the part of small
scale / large scale projects.
